12,896 new invertebrate records entered onto RECORDER database!

Added: 20th December 2011

Jacqui, who deals with all our incoming records has just finished importing 12,896 invertebrate records onto our RECORDER database from Dr Martin Drake including many fly species.

We are very grateful to Martin who is an entomological consultant for giving us these records as we do not receive many records of flies. Martin is particularly interested in flies and wetlands, and is currently chairman of the Dipterists Forum (the national society for dipterists). He also sits on the committee of the Axe Vale & District Conservation Society.
