The Working Wetlands project is a five year Living Landscape project managed by Devon Wildlife Trust that aims to help to restore, recreate and reconnect areas of Culm grassland across north Devon. DBRC have been producing Parish Biodiversity Audits to help the Working Wetlands team target areas for advice and support.  The purpose of the Parish Audit is to map the land use of an entire parish to field scale using a combination of existing information such as County Wildlife Site data, aerial photograph interpretation and some ground truthing through field visits. Parish audits have taken place in a number of selected Working Wetlands project priority parishes and DBRC have produced 23 to date. Devon County Council also produce parish biodiversity audits and DBRC follow a similar format.
