Devon greater horseshoe bat project

A range of partners across the county are currently developing this project - their vision is to support the long term persistence and enhancement of greater horseshoe bat populations through linked landscape scale conservation initiatives across Devon. The project will take an ecosystems approach to secure robust and ecologically coherent landscapes. The partnership brings together a range of organisations from the charitable conservation sector, areas of outstanding natural beauty, statutory bodies and planning authorities.

During the development of this project the steering group & partners aim to update this page by providing information on progress, broadening understanding of this flagship Devon species, promoting the project aims & objectives, and inviting wider participation or support.
